A musical school in London like Sylvia Young but for kids 17 plus and adults?

I'd like to train for musical theatre and I only have little experience with performing, basically I'd like to start from scratch. This would be mainly for fun, then I would maybe try and record an album.

So, Is there any adult school in London that trains for musical theatre and has performances, too?

Anyway... thanks for your answers.

There are numerous colleges in London for the performing arts. The Royal Academy of Music, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art), Mountview, Arts Educational, Central School of Speech and Drama, Italia Conti Academy

of Theatre Arts, and Guildhall School of

Music and Drama are some of the more well-known institutions.

If you go to www.drama.ac.uk there are links to these schools, plus information about funding, etc.

You can do a diploma or undergraduate degree at these colleges, and some also run summer schools and part-time courses, if you're just looking for something as a hobby or want to see how you get on.

Good luck!
